Issuer Sponsorship enables shareholders to hold their securities in “paperless” form, but without being tied to a particular broker. All details relating to your holding are maintained at the share registry. Your Issuer Sponsored holding can be identified by an ‘I’ at the start of your Shareholder Reference Number (SRN) which is printed on your holding statement. When your shares are Issuer Sponsored, you are free to trade them through any broker without the need to move them around. You give your nominated broker permission to access your holding when you buy or sell.
- What does Broker Sponsored mean?
Broker Sponsorship enables holders who are regular traders with a particular broker to have all of their holdings in different companies recorded under the one holder identification number (HIN). An important thing to know about Broker Sponsorship is that nearly all changes (changes of address, etc.) must be made through your sponsoring broker.
- How do I notify the share registry when I have changed my address?
You must inform our share registry of any change to your address in writing. You request a form by contacting Computershare Investor Services by mail or phone.
For Broker Sponsored Shares: You will need to notify your broker in writing of your change of address.
- How do I obtain information about buying and selling shares?
Shareholders or interested parties wishing to trade in Aston Resources Limited shares on the Australian Securities Exchange must do so through a stockbroker.
